You can also ask a family member to bring decorations that hold sentimental value, such as homemade ornaments or an heirloom tree topper passed down through generations. As the holiday cards and photographs arrive in the mail, designate a space in your home to put them on display. This can further personalize your holiday decor and help you feel more connected to your loved ones.
Decorating shared community spaces with other residents can also boost your holiday spirit. In the past, we've displayed up to 30 decorated trees throughout our main campus buildings, immersing our residents in holiday ambience, no matter where they go. The holiday season is one of the busiest times for traveling as people set off to reconnect with loved ones they only get to see a handful of times per year. Our guest apartments enable loved ones who don't live nearby to visit and enjoy holiday activities with you in person.
