Our Mission of Service

At The Village at Woods Edge, service means a number of things: It means we offer living spaces, programming, and amenities that allow our residents to follow their interests and passions, while in a supportive and comfortable environment.

Service also means that everyone on staff is here to enrich the lives of our residents. Our wide-ranging social opportunities promote physical well-being, mental and emotional health, and spiritual connection. Resident outings, social events, healthy meals, transportation services, and more give our residents access to all the things that make life enjoyable.

Finally, service means being fully invested in our residents and the community we serve. As a not-for-profit organization, we’re not here to make money for shareholders. Instead, we re-invest our revenue back into the community—hiring skilled staffers, upgrading amenities, and providing more programs for our residents.

For 35 years, we have put our residents first, and we are constantly striving to offer the best retirement in the best community in all of Virginia!
