Types of Fees
As new residents of The Village, you have two types of fees which are common to most independent living communities. First, you can expect an entrance fee that functions as a refundable deposit to secure your apartment or cottage as a new resident. From there, you will see monthly service fees that are tailored to fit your specific needs. With your floor plan, refundable deposit selection and more taken into consideration, these monthly fees will be especially curated between yourself and our team.
Every resident enjoys access to all of our campus amenities. Your basic monthly service fee includes a generous selection of services and amenities, including interior and exterior maintenance, most utilities, campus Wi-Fi, as well as admittance to all of our campus activities such as lifelong learning lectures. Residents also have an optional membership to the James L. Camp Jr. Family YMCA, which is a short walk from our campus and offers a range of fitness classes, training programs and an indoor pool.
Finally, every resident enjoys a dining allotment that you may apply toward any meal or in any dining location throughout The Village. In addition to our main full-service dining room, which offers an impressive menu of delicious dishes, we also have our well-renown Back Porch & Grille, which is known far and wide as a place for good food and great conversation—as well as a monthly wine and cheese celebration!
Monthly Services Fees by Floor Plan
Our monthly fees vary based on floor plan. We offer a variety of one-, two- and three-bedroom Independent Living cottage and apartment plans to meet your needs. All floor plans are private residences with elegant upgrades and creature comforts such as large closets, kitchen conveniences, and parking for every resident.
