A PROJECT TO PRESERVE THE PAST by the Southampton County Historical Society (SCHS)

Join us for a taste of local history and learn about the last remaining intact building in Southampton County to survive the insurrection of 1831, the Rebecca Vaughan House. This landmark, which has since been relocated to Courtland, was donated to the SCHS by one of our own residents right here at The Village at Woods Edge. Come hear from the Society about the importance of preserving landmarks like these and the efforts taken to restore this local farmhouse listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited so make a reservation for yourself and a friend now!
